What’s Happening at CG 6/13/2021

“God Will Reposition You”“The Lord said to Abram, ‘Leave your land, your family, and your father’s household for the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation and will bless you. I will make your name respected, and you will be a blessing.’” –Genesis 12:1-2 (CEB)
These have been some trying times for everyone, but you must remember there is still a call and purpose on your life. I have come to realize that we cannot know our real value until we come through some life experiences that are sometimes challenging. I am not saying that there will always be gloom and doom in our lives, but I am saying that sometimes our challenges build our character and endurance. Sometimes our challenges push us into new places and new opportunities for growth and development.
I am learning to pray: “Lord, whatever I have to go through in life, mold me and make me to fulfill your purpose for my life. I will go where You want me to go because I know that all things do work together for good and for Your glory.” I believe that God has a way of repositioning us when we find ourselves in the challenges of our life. God seems to always move us from a place of comfort to a place of conviction where we begin to see the world through the lens of infinite possibilities.  We may want to be in a place of convenience and a place of comfort, but when there is a mandate on our life to do greater things, we must get out of our comfort zone.
When God called Abram, He told him to leave his country and go to a place that God would eventually show him. I am sure Abram felt lost and confused, but in the end, he had great faith that God would lead Him to a greater purpose. Abram, who eventually became Abraham, became the father of a great nation, but he first had to allow God to reposition him for His purpose. I believe that when God gets ready for us to walk into our destiny, He will move heaven and earth to get our attention. The good news is that we do not walk alone, but God’s love for us will find us and surround us wherever we are on life’s journey.
