What’s Happening at CG?

Daily Devotional

Read: Isaiah 54
There is song that we sing in the church called, “Lord, I’m available to you.” It’s our affirmation to God that we are willing to be used by Him as He desires. What is interesting about the song is, God is singing the song back to us. He’s saying that He is available to us. God wants us to know that when we give our lives to Him; When we put our trust, hope, obedience, belief, diligence, perseverance, and expectations in Him, that He takes that faith serious. Although sometimes we may feel that God is distant from us, recognize that it’s just a feeling and not reality.
The crisis that we currently experience will be over, and we will come out. Isaiah reminds us that, it doesn’t matter when it will be over, because we are going to sing in the midst of our trouble. We are going to proactively prepare for the promises of God, because we know who and whose we are. Ultimately, we can sing because verse 10 says that God’s love for us will not be shaken and His covenant of peace will not be removed.
Thank you, Lord, that today we walk in your blessed peace knowing that no weapon that is formed against us will prosper and every tongue that rises against us in judgement you will condemn.
Shalom
