A Note From Our Associate Pastor: Pastor Marian Royston

Greetings Center Grove Family and Friends,

I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s hard to believe that it’s Harvest Time again. This year, we have many reasons to rejoice and give thanks. Over the course of the past year, I have been amazed at the ways in which God has moved through us as a congregation. I have witnessed God at work every time we gather as a church family– in worship and study, fun and work, joy and sorrow. There is no better place for us to be than together as a church family.

This year’s Harvest theme, “Coming Back Home” reminds us of the joy of being together. Down through the years, Center Grove has served as a home for many. The number of lives that have been transformed because of the ministries of Center Grove is innumerable. Along the way, the relational bonds within the church have grown strong. Our fellowship, like many, was temporarily disrupted because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks be to God that we can once again gather safely for worship and fellowship.

This year’s Harvest Celebration will be just that—a celebration of all that God has done, is doing, and will do. It’s a time of remembrance, gratitude, and hope. It’s a time to come home and experience its comforts afresh.

It is my prayer that as you peruse the commemorative book and participate in the celebration, you give thanks to God for all the saints who call and make Center Grove home. May you find encouragement and inspiration. Further, I pray that you are reminded of all the hard work that goes into making our Harvest Celebration what it is. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this beautiful event.
