A Note From Our Pastor

Dear Center Grove Family & Friends:

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amazing things continue to happen at Center Grove, as ministries are re-launching, attendance grows, and new members are added to our numbers. Because we have strong and dedicated church members and ministry partners, we have continued to be an irresistible light on a hill winning souls for Jesus Christ.

As we gather for the 79th Harvest Celebration, we center our hearts and minds on the theme: “Coming Back Home!” based on Psalm 126:6 (CEB), “Let those who go out, crying and carrying their seed, come home with joyful shouts, carrying bales of grain!” I anticipate that we will experience a powerful worship service, great preaching, and communion with those connected to the loving family of God called Center Grove.

The focus of this year’s Harvest reaches back while looking forward. We stand on the shoulders of so many who came before us with a vision for a church that would provide preaching, teaching, and sanctuary, for generations to come. We are certainly blessed by their hard work and faithfulness of generations past, but we also must remember our responsibility to continue in the tradition. God is calling us to remain faithful in proclaiming His goodness and demonstrating His love in the world. Therefore, each member of our church is needed in this season as we seek to reach more people for Jesus Christ and care for the community around us.

As you make your way through the pages of our souvenir booklet, remember that Center Grove has a vibrant history, an exciting present, and a promising future. My deepest prayer is that we will not only celebrate what God has done in the life of our congregation but we will be strengthened and renewed for the work that is ahead.
