What’s Happening at CG?

A Note From Pastor Cowser

What Is Your Harvest Testimony?

Let those who plant with tears reap the harvest with joyful shouts. Let those who go out, crying and carry their seed, come home with joyful shouts, carrying bales of grain!
Psalm 126:5-6 (CEB)
The year 2020 has been a challenging year for many of us. The COVID-19 pandemic has touched us all in some way and we are certainly living in different times. One thing that has encouraged me in this season is the steadfast faith of God’s people called Center Grove. I have heard countless testimonies from many of you of how your faith in God and hope for the future has grown stronger.
Although times are uncertain, we must remember that there is always a reason to give thanks and praise to God. We all have a testimony! God, our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer, has blessed each of us with the gift of life – not only physical life, but spiritual life. For this reason, we celebrate this year’s Annual Harvest with the theme of “Kept: For Such a Time as This” based on Psalm 126, a psalm of restoration and joy. Harvest is a bit different this year, because our service will be virtual and not in-person, but the call of God upon our lives remains the same. We must encourage one another to give thanks to God for His abundant blessings and to keep striving to bring His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
Center Grove has a vibrant history, an exciting present, and a promising future. As we continue our journey together as pastor and congregation, let us pray, focus, and diligently work to transform lives by being an irresistible light on a hill winning souls for Jesus Christ.
It’s Harvest Time!
