A Note From Our Pastor
“Relying on God” Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.  Psalm 86:11 (CEB)-   Have you made a New Year’s Resolution? January 1st often signifies a new beginning for many people. An opportunity to reset everything in life and begin again. I love this idea, but I have often been guilty of trying to develop new habits and disciplines that typically don’t make it into the month of February. All in all, I hope you’ve been more successful than I have with your resolutions.    This year, I am striving for more than just new habits and disciplines. I am striving for one thing, above all, in my life—to rely on the faithfulness of God for my sake and the sake of others. Not that I have not attempted this in the past, but this year, I am committed to allowing this to be the focus of everything I do—my life, my family, and my ministry.  I believe we often allow ourselves to be the central focus of our resolutions, but in reality, we are called to be our best selves not just for ourselves, but for the sake of others. At least that is what we are called to do as Christians, to love God with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength and our neighbor as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37).   Blessings, Pastor Cowser

Thank You Note from Pastor Cowser Words cannot express how much I appreciate the prayers, calls, texts, cards, and tokens of love during my recovery from surgery. Your love and encouragement truly blessed me and enabled me to come back rested and renewed. -Pastor Cowser-
