Reverend Timothy Mark Rainey II, born in Huntsville, AL accepted his call to the ministry at the age of 16 and later decided to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA where he majored in Religion. Graduating in the spring of 2005 he enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ and graduated in May of 2008. Upon graduation, Reverend Rainey accepted an offer to serve under the leadership of Dr. Kevin R. Johnson, at the historic Bright Hope Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA. In the summer of 2009, Reverend Rainey returned to Huntsville, AL and became the first Assistant Pastor of Indian Creek Church where he served with his father, Elder Timothy Rainey, for five years. He is currently a Ph.D candidate within Emory University’s Graduate Division of Religion with a focus on American Religious Cultures. He is married to Mrs. Brandi Burton Rainey and is blessed with a energetic daughter, Jaci Elisabeth and a lively son, Timothy Mark III.
